Heralded by Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution as “A mom and genius game creator helping kids eat fresh food!”, Jennifer Tyler Lee is an award-winning cookbook author, game creator, and healthy eating advocate. Jennifer has garnered national TV, radio, and print coverage for her family cookbook, The 52 New Foods Challenge, and her nutrition game, Crunch a Color®: The Healthy Eating Game. She’s developed a loyal following of parents who tune in to her easy recipes each week.
Jennifer’s work has been spotlighted by Jessica Alba, Michael Pollan, Jamie Oliver, Laurie David, Rachael Ray, US Weekly, The 700 Club, and Oprah.com—among many others. Her fresh approach to cooking together as a family inspired a nationwide series of kids cooking classes at Williams-Sonoma, The 52 New Foods Junior Chef Series, along with an exclusive edition of her book.
Her debut book, The 52 New Foods Challenge: A Family Cooking Adventure for Each Week of the Year, with 150 Recipes (Penguin Random House / Avery), was nominated for an IACP Culinary Award, and won the 2015 National Parenting Publications Gold Award. Her nutrition game, Crunch a Color: The Healthy Eating Game, was named one of Dr. Toy’s “10 Best” Children’s Products in 2011 and 2012, and received the Parent-Tested Parent-Approved seal of approval.
Jennifer leads an active consulting practice, advising leading lifestyle brands on ways to help busy families lead healthier lives. To that end, she works closely with a team of highly-acclaimed recipe developers to ensure her recipes are as delicious as they are easy and family-friendly. A veteran strategy consultant, Jennifer brings a unique ability to envision and execute on strategic partnerships to create awareness for the issues she cares deeply about. Clients have included Nike, Williams-Sonoma, Common Sense Media, and The Gap.
