Oatmeal is boring at breakfast, until you make it a treasure hunt!

Around the holidays, my house is stocked with homemade dried fruits and nuts. A fun way I like to feature them is with this simple and fun Hidden Treasure Oatmeal recipe.

My favorite combo is made with our homemade Sour Cherry Blasters (recipe in my new book), dark chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped walnuts. My kids love digging to the bottom of the bowl to find the hidden treasure. It’s such a simple trick, but they have fun playing along every time.
